A. 
Maximum speed limits are established on portions of specified streets, as follows, and it shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle on any part of a street where a maximum speed limit applies at a higher speed than the maximum prescribed for that part of the street.

A. 
The following are declared to be hazardous grades, and upon any such hazardous grade, no person shall drive a vehicle, having a gross weight in excess of that referred to for that grade, in the direction stated for that grade, at a speed in excess of that established in this section for that grade, and if so stated for a particular grade, the driver of every such vehicle shall stop the vehicle before proceeding downhill.

B. 
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $35. The following highways are established as through highways, thus authorizing stop or yield signs to be erected facing traffic approaching every intersection with the through highway, except for those intersections with traffic signals or with exceptions or modifications as indicated below. Every driver of a vehicle approaching a stop or yield sign authorized by this section shall stop the vehicle or yield right-of-way as required by Section 3323(b) or 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code,[1] as the case may be, and shall not proceed into or across the through highway until he has followed all applicable requirements of that section of the law:

The following intersections (in addition to intersections with the through highways established by § 260-21) are established as stop intersections, and official stop signs shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected) in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street (the intersecting or through street) on the first-named street (the stop street) in the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection on the first-named or stop street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(b) of the Vehicle Code and shall not proceed into or across the second-named or intersecting or through street until he has followed all applicable requirements of that section of the law.

Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection on the first-named or yield street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall slow down or stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code.

B. 
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A. 
No motor vehicle, including a motorcycle, pedacycle or minibike, shall be operated on any property owned by the Borough of Zelienople or any other public agency or instrumentality within the Borough without the permission of the property owner and a permit from the Mayor of the Borough of Zelienople.
B. 
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A. 
The following locations are designated as rotary traffic islands, and every vehicle passing around a rotary traffic island shall be driven only to the right of the island:

Any person who drives a vehicle otherwise than to the right of any rotary traffic island shall be guilty of a violation of this section and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A. 
The following areas upon the streets in the Borough of Zelienople are established as play highways:

B. 
The Mayor is authorized to designate as play highways, whenever he deems that action advisable and for whatever period of time directed by him, any part of any street in the Borough where sledding and coasting shall be permitted. That play highway shall be set apart for the purpose under the direction of the Mayor.
C. 
No person shall drive any motor vehicle upon any play highway at any time when that street shall be designated as a play highway, except in case of emergency with special permission of the Mayor or of the police officer in charge, who shall first clear that play highway of all persons using it for the purpose for which it was set aside. Any person who violates any provision of this subsection shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
A.

B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a snowmobile on any highway, street or road in the Borough of Zelienople other than as provided above, provided that nothing in this section shall prohibit any person from operating a snowmobile on any other street in the Borough:
(1) 
As authorized by Section 7721 of the Vehicle Code[1] for emergency and bridge crossings and for direct crossing of streets or two-lane highways; or

For special snowmobile events where authorized in advance and the street is blocked off as provided in Section 7723 of the Vehicle Code. Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in Section 7752(a) of the Vehicle Code.[2]

A. 
No person shall use, operate or permit the use or operation of any skateboard, in-line skates or like instrument on any sidewalk, street, parking lot or other public place within the business district of Zelienople Borough. For the purpose of this section, the business district shall be deemed to be the area from Culvert Street to Grandview Avenue on Main Street, north and south.
B. 
No person shall use or operate a skateboard on any major traffic roadways, namely Route 68 East, Route 68 West, Route 19 North, Route 19 South, Route 288 and Route 588.
C. 
No person shall set up or maintain any type of device used to propel a skateboard on any street or roadway within the Borough of Zelienople, and no person shall set up or maintain a ramp or device used to propel a skateboard in such a manner that will propel the skateboard and operator onto any street or roadway within the Borough.
D. 
Where use is permissible, the user of any skateboard or like instrument shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian, motor vehicle, or any other user of said sidewalk, street or parking lot and shall not interfere with the proper use of any public way or by any other person.
E. 
Any person violating this section shall be guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $15 nor more than $600, plus costs of prosecution.
Flashing warning devices are permanently erected at the following locations for operation between the hours of 7:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. daily, restricting turning movements to right turns:
