[Adopted 6-19-1980 as Sec. 2-2-72 of the 1980 Code]
The town hereby declares, recognizes and proclaims the Town
Police Department and the Town Volunteer Fire Department
as integral parts of the official safety program of the town and also
declares that the members of those departments, and their beneficiaries,
shall be entitled to all the benefits granted under the provisions
of Line of Duty Act, embraced in § 2.1-133.5 et seq. of
the Code of Virginia.
