No person shall take a drink of alcoholic beverages or shall
tender drink thereof to another, whether accepted or not, at or in
any public place within the town.
This article shall not prevent any person from drinking alcoholic beverages or offering a drink thereof to another in
those areas designated in Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, § 4.1-308.
It shall be an offense for any person to fail to abide by this
article, and any person found guilty thereof shall be subject to a
fine not to exceed $250. Each day any violation of this article shall
continue shall constitute a separate offense.
