A. 
No trailer which is used or which is intended to be used for living or sleeping quarters or purposes shall be placed, located or kept on any property, private or public, or on the streets within the town for a period of more than two weeks.
B. 
The owner of any lot, tract or parcel of land in the town, the agent of such owner, if the owner be a nonresident and an agent is acting for the owner, and all persons occupying any trailer found in violation of Subsection A of this section shall each be regarded as violating this section and shall be so charged jointly in any warrant issued for the violation thereof, and conviction of the owner, or the agent of the owner, shall not preclude conviction of the occupants of such trailer for the violation hereof.
No trailer, mobile home, or industrialized building unit which is used or which is intended to be used for other than living or sleeping quarters or purposes shall be placed, located, or kept on any property, private or public, or on the streets within the town, without the owner or operator thereof first obtaining a permit so to do from the town council.
Upon the conviction of the owner of any lot, his agent or the occupants of a trailer of a violation of § 153-1, the trailer in question shall be removed at once from the town. Upon failure of the owner of the lot, his or her agent or the occupants of such trailer so to remove the same at once, it shall be done by the town at the expense of the owner of the lot and of the trailer, which expense shall be recovered by distress and sale or such other appropriate method as may be adopted by the town.
The Health Officer and the members of the Police Department shall enforce the provisions of this article.
It shall be an offense for any person to fail to abide by this article, and any person found guilty thereof shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $1,000 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed six months, or both. Each day any violation of this article shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
