A person who is responsible for an alarm system is encouraged to register the alarm system with the Town. The purpose for registering the alarm system is so that first responders will have accurate contact information for the person or persons responsible for the property in the event of an emergency or false alarm.

Alarm system registrations should be filed with the Town on forms supplied by the Town of Cumberland. Said registration shall set forth the following:
A. 
Registrant's name, address and telephone number;
B. 
Address and telephone number of structure in which alarm system is to be installed;
C. 
Name, address and telephone number of the alarm system installer;
D. 
Name, address and telephone number of the person maintaining the alarm system;
E. 
Name, address and telephone number of the person(s) to contact when the Police or Fire/EMS Department receives an alarm;
F. 
Location of alarm system control panel within the structure;
G. 
Location of any lock box;
H. 
Type of alarm (telephonic, audible, or other); and
