The County of Suffolk is authorized to conduct off-track pari-mutuel
betting and hereby requests the New York State Off-Track Pari-Mutuel
Betting Commission to approve the County of Suffolk as a participating
municipality pursuant to Article V of the Unconsolidated Laws of the
State of New York.

The County of Suffolk, pursuant to § 172 of Article VII-A of the regional Off-Track Betting Corporation Law, as added by Chapter 346 of the Laws of 1973 and amended by Chapter 664 of the Laws of 1974, hereby elects to join the Suffolk Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation.
