The County of Suffolk does hereby elect to provide the benefits
of § 75-i of the New York Retirement and Social Security
Law, as presently or hereafter amended, to Suffolk County employees
who are eligible to participate in the new career retirement plan.
This Legislature hereby authorize and empowers the County Director
of Personnel and Labor Relations and the County Risk Management and
Benefit Division to take all ministerial measures necessary to implement
the provisions of this article.
This election shall become effective September 1, 1994.
