The rate of compensation of the Borough' s Tax Collector for collection of those taxes for which he/she is designated collector shall be 2% of those taxes collected.
The Tax Collector shall deposit all taxes collected to the Borough account established for this purpose only each week during February, March, April and May at a time to be determined by Council, and thereafter every 30 days or when collection has reached $2,000, and provide the Treasurer of the Borough with a written statement of said deposit.

Borough Council hereby appoints the Tax Collector for Paxtang Borough as the municipal officer authorized to provide tax certifications, upon request, to the public. Council further authorizes the Tax Collector to assess, collect and retain, as compensation for providing such additional service, a fee of $5 per tax certification.
