The purpose of this district is to reserve and protect publicly owned lands for recreational, historical or other public purposes.
In the P Public District, only the following uses are authorized:
A. 
Permitted uses.
(1) 
Principal uses.
(a) 
Active recreation, low-impact.
(b) 
Essential services.
(c) 
Forestry, subject to § 350-104.
(d) 
Oil and gas well operations, subject to § 350-107.
(e) 
Passive recreation.
(f) 
Public buildings.
(2) 
Accessory uses.
(a) 
Communications antenna mounted on an approved communications tower, subject to § 350-106.
(b) 
Fences, subject to § 350-97.
(c) 
Off-street parking and loading, subject to Article XVII.
(d) 
Signs, subject to Article XVIII.
(e) 
Other accessory uses customarily incidental to and on the same lot with any permitted use, conditional use or use by special exception authorized in this district.
B. 
Conditional uses.

Principal uses.

Uses by special exception.
(1) 
Principal uses.
(a) 
Active recreation, high-impact, subject to § 350-93A(1).
(b) 
Communications tower, subject to § 350-93A(13).
(c) 
Public utility building or structure, subject to § 350-93A(36).
(2) 
Accessory uses: none.
In the P Public District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Article XV.
A. 
Minimum lot area:
(1) 
Community park: 20 acres.
(2) 
Public building: one acre.
(3) 
All other uses: none.
B. 
Minimum lot width:
(1) 
Community park: 200 feet.
(2) 
Public building: 125 feet.
(3) 
All other uses: none.
C. 
Maximum lot coverage: 5%.
D. 
Minimum front yard: 50 feet.
E. 
Minimum rear yard:
(1) 
All principal structures:
(a) 
Adjoining any R-A, R-1, R-2 or R-3 District: 50 feet.

Adjoining all other districts: 25 feet.
