This Borough shall enter into an agreement (the "agreement") with the township, substantially in the form referred to in § 34-2, with respect to obtaining police services for the Borough, as described in the agreement.
The agreement shall be substantially in the form presented to this meeting, which form is approved, and a copy thereof, in the form so presented to this meeting and so approved, shall be filed with the Secretary of this Borough.
The President or Vice President of the Borough Council and the Secretary or the Assistant Secretary of the Borough, as applicable, are directed to execute, attest, acknowledge and deliver the agreement on behalf of the Borough, substantially in the form approved in § 34-2.
The proper officials of this Borough are directed to execute all documents and to do all other acts as may be necessary and proper to carry out this article and the undertakings of this Borough under the agreement.
The term of the agreement shall commence and terminate as provided for by the agreement.
The purposes and objectives of the agreement include providing police services to the Borough, as well as other purposes provided for in the agreement.
The agreement shall be financed with funds from the Borough's operating budget.
The organizational structure necessary to implement the terms of the agreement, other than those covered by the agreement, shall be covered by directives, procedures and guidance from the township.
All matters with respect to property, real or personal, acquired, managed, or disposed of pursuant to the agreement shall be in accordance with both the terms of the agreement as well as directives, procedures and guidance from the township.
Each municipality shall retain responsibility for the management, control and direction of its employees.
