The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed, pursuant to § C8-2W of the Suffolk County Charter, to issue such rules and regulations as to ensure that all lumber used by the County of Suffolk which is situate below mean high water or which otherwise is frequently in a submerged state shall not be treated with copper chromated arsenate (CCA).
The Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed, pursuant to § A28-6 of the Suffolk County Administrative Code, to issue such rules and regulations as to ensure that all lumber used by the County of Suffolk which is situate below mean high water or which otherwise is frequently in a submerged state shall not be treated with copper chromated arsenate (CCA).
