All Suffolk County departments and the Clerk of the County Legislature
are hereby directed to provide the Suffolk Cooperative Library System
(SCLS), and the libraries of Suffolk Community College and the State
University at Stony Brook, copies of, or electronic access to, all
public information created or compiled by the employees of the County
or its contractors, regardless of form or format, except that which
is protected from public disclosure under Article 6 of the New York
Public Officers Law, or is for strictly administrative or operational
purposes having no public interest or educational value.
