The Department of Social Services is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to issue a written report on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 of each year showing the reported number of recipients of public assistance and/or housing assistance placed in any one town on a cumulative basis during the prior three-month period, as measured against the total number of recipients of public assistance and/or housing assistance, placed throughout the County, calculated as a percentage of total residents of the County of Suffolk represented by the town in which such recipients of public assistance and/or housing assistance are placed during such period, said report to be filed with each member of the County Legislature and the County Executive on each such date and to be published in the official newspapers of the County of Suffolk within 10 days after such filing.
