[HISTORY: Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Fremont 5-27-1986 by Ord. No. 86-1 as Sec. 1.06 of the 1986 Municipal Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
As provided in § 7.15, Wis. Stats., the Clerk-Treasurer shall have charge of and supervise all elections held in the Village.
A. 
Appointment. Election officials shall be appointed pursuant to § 7.30, Wis. Stats.
B. 
Number. Except as provided in Subsection C below, there shall be seven inspectors for each election.
C. 
Reduction of number. Pursuant to § 7.32, Wis. Stats., the Clerk-Treasurer may reduce the number of election inspectors for any given election to not less than three.

All elected Village officials shall be nominated at a caucus pursuant to § 8.05, Wis. Stats. Such caucus shall be held each year on the second Tuesday of January at 6:00 p.m.

A. 
Contribution Limits. All candidates running for elected Village office may only accept campaign contributions from the people that are eligible to vote for them in the district of the Village office for which they are seeking election.
B. 
Definition of Contribution. Contributions include in-kind and money in all forms, including (but not limited to) cash, check, and digital payments.
C. 
Definition of "people." "People" means living human beings in the first order and not derivatives or groups. People are not to be construed to include political action committees, corporations, candidate committees, or political party committees.

The polls of the Village shall open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. for all elections.
The polling place for the Village shall be the Village Hall.
