A. 
As used in this article, the term "person" shall include any individual, corporation, partnership, association, firm, or other legal entity.
B. 
The singular shall include the plural; the plural shall include the singular; and the masculine shall include the feminine and neuter.
As of the effective date of this article, it shall be unlawful for any person to post or hang upon any utility pole, light post, sign or sign post owned by the Borough or any other public utility or entity, any sign, banner, poster, etc. regardless of the method of attachment.
Any person who shall violate the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25. Each violation on each pole or post shall be considered a separate offense. Further, each day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
Nothing within this article shall prohibit the posting, on parking meter posts, utility poles, light posts, or sign posts any official parking restrictions by the Borough of Lehighton Police Department, any Department authorized to post such restrictions by the Police Department, or any funeral directors authorized by the Police Department to post such restrictions. In posting these temporary parking restrictions, each sign shall be affixed either with tape, or tied to the appropriate post. Further, nothing in this article shall prohibit the posting of any official traffic control device or sign, or any seasonal banner erected by the Borough of Lehighton, upon any of the aforestated poles or posts.
