§ 185-1 Adoption of county code.

Pursuant to the Charter of Chesapeake Beach, Sections 18-101 to 18-1307, inclusive, formerly contained in the Public Local Laws of Calvert County (Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, 1981 Edition, as amended), Chesapeake Beach, by its Town Council, hereby adopts the Calvert County Livability Code, as approved and as adopted by the County Commissioners of Calvert County on October 18, 1988, and as may be amended from time to time, and that said Livability Code shall be in all respects the Livability Code of Chesapeake Beach.

§ 185-2 Enforcement.

Pursuant to the authority of this chapter, the Council may adopt such resolution or resolutions as may be necessary to delegate to Calvert County, to authorize Calvert County to implement and enforce, and to ratify and affirm the cooperative agreement between Calvert County and Chesapeake Beach in connection with said Livability Code.

§ 185-3 Conflict with other provisions.

To the extent that any other ordinance enacted in connection with minimum livability standards or other regulations contained in the Livability Code are in conflict with the provisions of § 185-1 of this chapter, such section or sections shall be and are hereby repealed and amended to the extent of such conflict.
