The Department shall be headed by a Director, who shall be chosen
on the basis of his or her executive and administrative qualifications,
with special reference to his or her actual experience in, or his
or her knowledge of, accepted practices in respect to the duties of
his or her office as hereinafter set forth.
The Department shall perform all appropriate functions associated
with:
A.
Health Services.
B.
Human Relations Commission.
C.
Library Services.
D.
Senior Citizens.
E.
Public Assistance.
F.
Relocation.
G.
Youth Services/Recreation.
H.
Operating the Office of Local Registrar of Vital Statistic Services
for the City of Atlantic City.
