A Joint Municipal Court is hereby established pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2B:12-1(b) et seq., as amended and supplemented, consisting of the City of Atlantic City and the City of Pleasantville (the "participating municipalities"). The Joint Municipal Court is created in accordance with a certain Agreement for Joint Municipal Court for the Municipalities of the City of Atlantic City and the City of Pleasantville City to be executed by the participating municipalities.
The name of the Joint Municipal Court shall be the "Joint Municipal Court of the City of Atlantic City."
This article shall take effect following adoption and approval in the time and manner prescribed by law. All summons, warrants and other matters issuing, arising from or within the jurisdiction of the City of Pleasantville Municipal Court shall be within the jurisdiction of the Joint Municipal Court of the City of Atlantic City on and after the aforesaid adoption and approval of this article, including those matters arising prior to such date which have not been completed.
The purpose of this article is to establish a single Joint Municipal Court to be located in the City of Atlantic City at the Charles G. Graham Public Safety Building (hereinafter referred to as "PSB"), 2715 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, New Jersey 08401.
The City Council of the City of Atlantic City hereby approves the terms and conditions of the Agreement for a Joint Municipal Court for the Municipalities of the City of Pleasantville and the City of Atlantic City to establish the Joint Municipal Court of the City of Atlantic City, such agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.[1] The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Atlantic City are hereby expressly authorized to execute and deliver the aforesaid agreement on behalf of the City of Atlantic City.

The jurisdiction of the Joint Municipal Court of the City of Atlantic City shall be coextensive with the municipal territory of the participating municipalities.
