For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
MOTOR VEHICLE JUNK BUSINESS or MOTOR VEHICLE JUNKYARD
Describes any business and/or any place of storage or deposit adjacent to and/or visible from any City street or highway which displays, or in or upon which there is displayed to the public view, one or more unregistered motor vehicles or used parts of motor vehicles or material which has been a part of any motor vehicle.
No person or corporation may, within the limits of the City of Atlantic City, engage in the business of a motor vehicle junk business or motor vehicle junkyard, nor shall any person or corporation place upon the property of any other person or corporation, without the consent of said person or corporation, any unused or unregistered motor vehicle or used parts of motor vehicles or material which has been a part of any motor vehicle.

Any person or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, pay a fine of not more than $2,000 or be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
