All persons owning, operating or managing any business located in the City of Atlantic City shall furnish to the Atlantic City Police Department information necessary to indicate the security measures located at said business and the persons to be notified in the event of the occurrence of an emergency at said business. This information shall be kept current by the owner of said business. For the purposes of this article, the terms "business" and "person" shall have the same meanings as provided for in Ordinance No. 6 of 1981,[1] concerning mercantile licenses.

All persons applying for a new or the renewal of a mercantile license to operate or manage a business in the City of Atlantic City shall be required, at the time of their application, to furnish the information required in § 170-22 above and to keep said information current during the term of said mercantile license.
All persons owning, operating or managing a business in the City of Atlantic City shall be furnished by the Atlantic City Police Department with an emergency decal containing thereon a coded number, and it shall be the responsibility of the owners, operators or managers of said business to place said decal at least five feet above ground level in the most conspicuous location as close as possible to the main entrance of said business.

It shall be the responsibility of the Police Department of the City of Atlantic City to enforce compliance of the terms of this article.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be subject to any or all of the penalties as provided for in Ordinance No. 37 of 1977, Ordinance No. 6 of 1981, as amended by Ordinance No. 50 of 1983, and Ordinance No. 49 of 1984, regarding failure to comply with the provisions concerning mercantile licenses.[1]
