A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Atlantic City and will remain
on file therein for the use of and examination by the public, being
marked and designated as the "Maintenance Code for Nonresidential
and Transient Residential Property in the City of Atlantic City, New
Jersey," be and the same is hereby adopted as the Maintenance Code
for Nonresidential and Transient Residential Property in the City
of Atlantic City, which establishes minimum requirements and standards
for all residential premises in the City of Atlantic City for the
protection of the public health, safety and welfare and which provides
for the abatement of certain conditions; permits access where necessary
to make repairs; and provides penalties for violations of the provisions
thereof. Said code is hereby adopted as if the same were fully set
out in this article, all in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.
40:49-5.1 (P.L. 1946, c. 21, p. 59, as amended, P.L. 1948, c. 276,
p. 1179).
