The title of this chapter is the City of New Lisbon Comprehensive
Plan Ordinance. The purpose of this chapter is for the City of New
Lisbon to lawfully adopt a comprehensive plan as required under ยงย 66.1001(4)(c),
Wis. Stats.
The City Council of the City of New Lisbon has authority to
appoint a City Plan Commission under ยงยงย 60.62 (4) and
62.23 (1), Wis. Stats., and under ยงย 66.1001(4), Wis. Stats.,
to adopt this chapter. The comprehensive plan of the City of New Lisbon
must be in compliance with ยงย 66.1001(4)(c), Wis. Stats.,
in order for the City Council to adopt this chapter.
The City Council of the City of New Lisbon, by this chapter,
adopted on proper notice with a quorum and roll call vote by a majority
of the City Council present and voting, provides the authority for
the City of New Lisbon to adopt its comprehensive plan under ยงย 66.1001(4),
Wis. Stats., and provides the authority for the City Council to order
its publication.
The City Council of the City of New Lisbon has adopted written
procedures designed to foster public participation in every stage
of the preparation of a comprehensive plan as required by ยงย 66.1001(4)(a),
Wis. Stats.
The Plan Commission of the City of New Lisbon, by a majority
vote of the entire commission, recorded in its official minutes, has
adopted a resolution recommending to the City Council the adoption
of the City of New Lisbon Comprehensive Plan, which contains all of
the elements specified in ยงย 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats.
The City of New Lisbon, has held at least on public hearing
on this chapter, with notice in compliance with the requirements of
ยงย 66.1001(4)(d), Wis. Stats.
The City Council of the City of New Lisbon, by the enactment
of this chapter, formally adopts the document entitled City of New
Lisbon Comprehensive Plan Ordinance under pursuant to s. 66.1001 (4)
(c), Wis. Stats.[1]
