The administrative officers of the City of Hoboken and all others,
if required by the Mayor and Council, shall annually, on the first
day of May, and from time to time when required by the Mayor and Council,
report to it, in writing, the condition of their respective offices
and of the business and all matters therein touching the interests
of the City and what business has been finished and what remains unfinished
of the last year.
