Town of Mount Pleasant, NY Article VI Prohibitions on Construction Activities

§ 139-23 Permitted times.

Persons shall conduct or permit to be conducted construction activities only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays; and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays.

§ 139-24 Prohibition on Sundays and holidays.

No construction activities shall be permitted on Sundays or any of the following holidays:

A. New Year's Day.

B. Memorial Day.

C. Independence Day.

D. Labor Day.

E. Thanksgiving Day.

F. Christmas Day.

§ 139-25 Exception for individual at residence.

Notwithstanding any provisions of § 139-23 and 139-24 to the contrary, an individual may perform construction activities him/herself on property on which such individual resides as follows:

A. From 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays.

B. From 8:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays.

C. Sundays and holidays (as defined in § 139-24 above), 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
