The following fees shall be charged to and collected from applicants
for plumbing and gas fitting permits by the Plumbing Inspector:
A. Plumbing, residential:
(1) New construction:
(a)
Basic first five fixtures: $150.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $10.
(2) Renovations:
(a)
Basic first three fixtures: $150.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $10.
(3) Residential boiler, water heater, storage tank and/or one fixture:
$50.
(4) Residential dishwasher: $30.
B. Plumbing, commercial:
(1) New construction:
(a)
Basic first five fixtures: $175.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $20.
(2) Renovations:
(a)
Basic first three fixtures: $125.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $10.
(3) Commercial boiler, water heater, storage tank backflow preventer
and/or one fixture: $75.
C. Gas permits:
(1) New residential:
(a)
Basic first fixture: $100.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $10.
(2) Residential renovations:
(a)
Basic first fixture: $75.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $10.
(c)
Residential gas re-test: $50.
(3) New commercial:
(a)
Basic first fixture: $150.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $20.
(4) Commercial renovations:
(a)
Basic first fixture: $125.
(b)
Each additional fixture: $20.
(5) Replacement of fixture — commercial, residential or gas test:
$75.
(7) Rooftop replacements: $75.
D. In addition
to the permit fee, a penalty of double the fee will be charged in
any case where construction has begun before a permit is issued.
E. A processing fee of $150 will be administered to all paper applications.
F. No fee for any permits in connection with work being performed for
the City of Gardner.
