No person, firm or corporation shall sell, use or authorize
the sale or use of fireworks or firecrackers within the City; provided,
however, that duly licensed wholesalers may sell fireworks and firecrackers
to retailers for resale outside of the City, and provided further
that persons having a permit issued under authority of MGL c. 148,
§ 10A, may purchase fireworks and display them in accordance
with the provisions of said Chapter 148 of the General Laws and in
compliance with the rules and regulations of the Police Department.

No person shall have in his possession, or in a vehicle, any
fireworks or firecrackers.

Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall
be punished as set forth under MGL c. 148, § 45.
