As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated in this section:
FIREWORKS
The definition of "fireworks" stated in § 167.10(1), Wis. Stats., is hereby adopted by reference.
No person or entity may sell or possess with intent to sell fireworks, except to the Village of Argyle or for purposes specified under § 309-3A through E.
The following uses are the only permitted uses of fireworks within the corporate limits of the Village of Argyle:
A. 
The Village, except that Village fire officials shall be notified of the proposed use of fireworks at least two days in advance.
B. 
The possession or use of explosives in accordance with rules or general orders of the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
C. 
The disposal of hazardous substances in accordance with rules adopted by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
D. 
The possession or use of explosive or combustible materials in any manufacturing process.
E. 
The possession or use of explosive or combustible materials in connection with classes conducted by educational institutions.
Violations of any section of this chapter shall be subject to the general penalty provisions of § 1-2 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Argyle.
