No plumbing work of any kind, except as provided in Section P-111.0 of the BOCA National Plumbing Code, shall be undertaken until a permit has been issued by the Township Permit Officer. Said permits may be issued only to a registered plumber or to the owner of the property in question.
An application for a plumbing permit shall be made on a prescribed form and shall designate the lot, block or street name or number where the work is to be performed and the name of the owner of the property and shall be accompanied by a legible drawing indicating fixtures, pipe sizes, vent locations, character of materials and measurement. The applicant shall pay all fees for plumbing permits when he submits his application.
If, in the course of work, it is desired to alter or deviate in any manner from the plans or specifications, notice of such intention shall be given the Plumbing Inspector and a corrected drawing furnished before the inspection is made. Permits shall be revoked for any material departure from the approved plans or drawings or in case any false statement or nondisclosure was made in securing the permit.
All permits shall lapse by limitation and become void if the work is not finished within 12 months from the date of issuance. Permit fees are not returnable.
[Amended 8-28-1980 by Ord. No. 80-11]
The Board of Supervisors shall, by resolution, create a schedule of fees to be paid by the applicant for a plumbing permit.
