As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
Existing or growing naturally in a region or country; native.
A cold-blooded, crawling vertebrate, such as a snake, lizard,
turtle, etc.
A long, scaly, limbless reptile with a tapering tail.
Nonindigenous snakes or reptiles will not be permitted to be
housed, stored, transported or sold within the limits of Waterford
Borough.

Any person who shall violate the provisions of this article
shall, in a summary proceeding before a Magisterial District Judge
and upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more
than $600, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of
such fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 30
days.
