Town of Webb, NY Article III All-Night Parking on Town Property

§ 435-3 Findings.

The Town Board of the Town of Webb finds that the effective control of parking on Town property is essential for the preservation of health, welfare and safety of its resident tourists.

§ 435-4 Applicability.

This article shall apply to all real property owned or leased by the Town of Webb, except, however, Town roads, but including the following areas:

A. Property adjoining the Old Forge Pond.

B. Airport property.

C. Snowmobile Park.

D. McCauley Mountain ski area.

E. Maple Ridge ski area.

§ 435-5 Definitions.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

PERSON

Includes an individual, society, club, firm, partnership, corporation, or association of persons, and the singular number shall include the plural number.

VEHICLE

Means and is intended to be limited to and is limited to any camper, trailer, mobile home and bus equipped and/or used for overnight accommodations for a person or persons.

§ 435-6 Prohibited hours.

No person shall park a vehicle, as defined above, on any land owned or leased by the Town of Webb, except Town highways, and located within the boundaries of the said Town during the hours from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

§ 435-7 Penalties for offenses. [1]

A violation of this article shall constitute a violation, punishable by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $250 or by imprisonment for not exceeding 10 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
