No person, and the term "person" shall include any corporation
or any organization, shall use water supplied by the Old Forge-Thendara
Water District to water lawns, clean or spray driveways or wash automobiles
during the period from June 15 to September 15 of any year after said
person has been notified by the Superintendent of Public Works of
the Town of Webb that, because of limited supply of water available
for distribution, said person shall cease and desist from watering
lawns, cleaning or spraying driveways or washing automobiles.
A violation of this article shall constitute an offense, punishable
by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for not exceeding
15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
The said Superintendent of Public Works shall not issue such an order pursuant to § 448-3 of this article unless he has been so authorized by a resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Webb.
