Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed former Ch.
236, Political Contributions, Art. I, Limits on Contributions by Contractors;
Receipt of Certain Contributions by Candidates, adopted 8-17-2011
by Ord. No. 18-2011.
The City will hereafter adhere and incorporate into Chapter 236 the state standards codified in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 19:44A-1 et seq. consisting of:
A copy of this chapter shall be filed with the New Jersey Secretary
of State.
In the event that any clause, section, paragraph or sentence
of this chapter is deemed to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason,
then the City Council hereby declares its intent that the balance
of the chapter not affected by said invalidity shall remain in full
force and effect to the extent that it allows the City to meet the
goals of the chapter.
