Pursuant to §§ 61.35 and 62.23(2) and (3), Wis. Stats., the Village of Clayton is authorized to prepare and adopt a comprehensive plan as defined in § 66.1001(1)(a) and (2), Wis. Stats.
The Village Board of the Village of Clayton, Wisconsin, has adopted written procedures designed to foster public participation in every stage of the preparation of a comprehensive plan as required by § 66.1001(4)(a), Wis. Stats.
The Plan Commission of the Village of Clayton, by a majority vote recorded in its official minutes dated July 21, 2009, has adopted a resolution recommending to the Village Board the adoption of the document titled "Village of Clayton, Polk County, Wisconsin, Comprehensive Plan 2009 — 2029," containing all of the elements specified in § 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats.
The Village has held at least one public hearing on this chapter in compliance with the requirements of § 66.1001(4)(d), Wis. Stats.
The Village Board of the Village of Clayton, Wisconsin, does, by enactment of this chapter, formally adopt the document titled "Village of Clayton, Polk County, Wisconsin, Comprehensive Plan 2009 — 2029" pursuant to § 66.1001(4)(c), Wis. Stats.[1]
