This article shall be for the express purpose of authorizing
qualified organizations, which shall be those organizations so designated
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-25 of the Bingo Licensing Law, to hold, operate
or conduct bingo games on Sunday, pursuant to the authorization therefor
contained in N.J.S.A. 5:8-31 of the Bingo Licensing Law.
Any qualified organization may hold, operate, or conduct the
game of chance commonly known as "bingo" on Sunday between the hours
of 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the place or premises
so licensed to otherwise house the operation of the bingo game.

In order to conduct a bingo game on Sunday, the person wishing to hold, operate, or conduct the same must obtain a license pursuant to the general provisions of the Bingo Licensing Law and the rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Commission, which license shall specifically authorize the person to conduct the game pursuant to § 184-2. Any qualified organization presently holding a license for the conduct of bingo games requesting a license in the same name, at the same place and on the same condition as specified in the application for the original license may apply for a special Sunday license by submitting a verified statement to that effect in lieu of an additional formal application.

This article shall be for the express purpose of authorizing
qualified organizations, which shall be those organizations so designated
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-51 of the Raffles Licensing Law, to conduct
raffles on Sunday, pursuant to the authorization therefor contained
in N.J.S.A. 5:8-58 of the Raffles Licensing Law.
Any qualified organization may hold, operate or conduct the
game of chance commonly known as a "raffle" on the first day of the
week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday," between the hours
of 12:00 noon and 11:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the place or premises
so licensed to otherwise house the operation of the raffle game.

In order to conduct a raffle game on Sunday, the organization wishing to hold, operate or conduct the same must obtain a license therefor pursuant to the general provisions of the Raffles Licensing Law and the rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission, which license shall specifically authorize the organization to conduct the game pursuant to § 184-5. Any qualified organization holding a license on July 2, 1973, for the conduct of a raffle game requesting to be licensed for the conduct of the game in the same name, at the same place and on the same condition as specified in the application for the original license may apply for a special Sunday license by submitting a verified statement to that effect in lieu of an additional formal application.
Except as provided in N.J.S.A. 5:8-57.2, any person who shall
violate any of the provisions of this article or who shall fail to
comply therewith, upon conviction, shall be subject to one or more
of the following: a fine of not more than $2,000, imprisonment for
a period of not more than 90 days, or a period of community service
not to exceed 90 days, in the discretion of the court, for each violation.
