All licenses required by this Code, unless otherwise specified, shall be annual licenses and shall be issued for the calendar year.
Licenses issued under the rules and regulations of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission are exempted from the provisions of this article.

Any license or permit issued under the provisions of this Code or any ordinance of the Township of Willingboro may be revoked by the officer issuing the license after notice and hearing for any of the following causes:
A. 
Fraud, misrepresentation or false statement contained in any application for a permit or license.
B. 
Fraud, misrepresentation or false statement in the conduct of any business or activity authorized by the license.
C. 
Any violation of this Code.
D. 
Conviction of the licensee for any felony or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude.
E. 
Conducting any business or activity licensed under this Code, through the licensee or any of the licensee's agents, servants or employees, in any unlawful manner or in such a manner as to constitute a breach of the peace or to constitute a menace to the health, safety or general welfare of the public.
Notice of a hearing for revocation of a license or permit issued under the provisions of this article shall be given in writing by the Township Clerk, setting forth specifically the grounds of complaint and the time and place of the hearing. The notice shall be mailed to the licensee, by certified mail, to the licensee's last known address at least five days prior to the date set for the hearing.
Any person aggrieved by the denial of any application for a permit or license or a revocation of the permit or license or the refusal to renew the permit or license may appeal to the Township Council by filing with the Township Clerk, within 14 days after the applicant or licensee has been notified of the complaint, a written statement setting forth the grounds of the appeal. The Township Council shall set a time and place for a hearing on the appeal, and notice shall be given to the appellant in the manner provided in § 214-4. The decision and order of the Township Council on the appeal shall be final and conclusive.
