The Board of Review shall consist of the Supervisors and Clerk of the Town, except any person appointed to the office of Town Clerk, Town Treasurer or to the combined office of Town Clerk and Town Treasurer under § 60.30(1e), Wis. Stats., may not serve on the Board of Review. In the event the Town Clerk, Town Treasurer or the person serving in the combined office of Town Clerk and Town Treasurer is appointed, the Town Board shall fill the seat on the Board of Review formerly held by the Clerk, Treasurer or combined Clerk/Treasurer by an elector of the Town. Members of the Board of Review, except members who are full-time employees or officers of the Town, shall receive such compensation as shall be fixed by resolution or ordinance of the Town Board.
The duties and functions of the Board of Review shall be as prescribed in § 70.46, § 70.47 and § 70.48, Wis. Stats., which sections of the Wisconsin Statutes are hereby adopted by reference.
Whenever the Assessor, in the performance of the Assessor's duties, requests or obtains income and expense information pursuant to § 70.47(7)(af), Wis. Stats., or any successor statute thereto, then such income and expense information that is provided to the Assessor shall be held by the Assessor on a confidential basis except, however, that the information may be released to and used by persons in the discharge of duties imposed by law, in the discharge of duties imposed by office (including, but not limited to, use by the Assessor in the performance of official duties of the Assessor's office and used by the Board of Review in performance of its official duties) or pursuant to order of a court. Income and expense information provided to the Assessor under § 70.47(7)(af), Wis. Stats., unless a court determines that it is inaccurate, is not, per § 70.47(7)(af), Wis. Stats., subject to the right of inspection or copying under § 19.35(1), Wis. Stats.
