[Adopted 7-26-1967 by Ord. No. 1967-13 (Ch. 61, Art. I, of
the 1995 Code)]
There is hereby created the office of Deputy Township Clerk
for the Township of Riverside.
The term of the office of Deputy Township Clerk shall be the
calendar year. Upon this article becoming effective, the Township
Committee shall appoint a suitable person, in the employ of the Township,
for the balance of the present calendar year and annually thereafter.
The salary or compensation of such Deputy Township Clerk shall
be established by ordinance as other salaries or compensation are
fixed.
The Deputy Township Clerk shall have all the powers and perform
all the duties of the Township Clerk during such times and for such
specific periods as the Township Clerk shall be absent.
