It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, club, association, corporation or other organization to install, operate, maintain or use, in any public or quasi-public place or in any building, store or any other place wherein the public is invited or may enter, within the Township of Riverside, any bagatelle device; or any mechanical machine for amusement purposes or for the production of music, including Victrolas, orchestrelles, player pianos, music vending machines and other such instruments, whether electrically operated or not; and all merchandise vending machines, and particularly, but not by way of limitation, all coin-operated machines, vending machines, Victrolas, orchestrelles, player pianos and cigarette, cigar, milk, confectionery or nut vending machines; all shuffle alleys, mechanical rides and photo machines operated, maintained or used as aforesaid without a license first had and obtained as hereinafter provided.
The fee for such bagatelle device, mechanical machine for amusement purposes or for the production of music, Victrola, orchestrelle, player piano or music vending machine, as heretofore described, shall be $10 for the fiscal year; and the fee for each merchandise vending machine, with the exception of milk, cigarette, confectionery and nut vending machines, shall be $10 for the fiscal year; the fee for each milk, cigarette, confectionery or nut vending machines shall be $5 for the fiscal year; the fee for each shuffle alley, mechanical ride or photo machine shall be $25 for the fiscal year; which said license fee, as hereinbefore provided, is imposed for costs of administration purposes.
Each device herein set forth which, in itself, takes a coin, whether on a stand with others or not, shall be construed to be an individual device.
Every applicant for a license shall fill out a form of application to be furnished by the Township Clerk, who shall issue the license as herein provided, upon payment of the appropriate license fee.

Any person, firm, corporation, association or legal party whatsoever who shall violate, or authorize or procure a violation, or cause to be violated, any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as provided under Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty.
This article shall be construed to be in addition to the requirements of Chapter 160, Business Licensing.
