[Adopted 4-8-1946 by Ord. No. 37; amended in its entirety 11-17-1987 by Ord. No. 456 (Ch. 2, Part 2, of the 1987 Code of Ordinances)]
It shall be unlawful and shall constitute a public nuisance for any person or persons to permit the running at large of any chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese or fowl, horses, ponies, pigs, mules, burros, donkeys, cats, or like animals in or upon the streets, sidewalks, avenues, alleys, public places, or on the private property of an other, within the limits of the Township of Upper Chichester.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000, together with the costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
