A.Â
Upon placement of solid waste for collection at the curbside or other
location, by a property owner or tenant, no person other than the
person in charge or the Township or its designee shall remove or disturb
such solid waste.
B.Â
It shall be unlawful for any person to scavenge any materials from
any solid waste that is stored or deposited for collection within
the Township without prior approval by the Township.
C.Â
It shall be unlawful for any person to salvage or reclaim any solid
waste within the Township except at an approved or permitted resource
recovery facility designated by the Township.
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw, place or deposit
or cause or permit to be thrown, placed or deposited any solid waste
in or upon any street, alley, sidewalk, body of water, public or private
property within the Township except as provided by Township ordinance.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $1,000, together with the costs of prosecution,
and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be subject
to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a
violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
