Beginning on the first day of January, A.D., 1976, the compensation of all Township Commissioners of the Township of Upper Chichester, elected or appointed after the adoption of this section, may be the maximum amount permitted as the General Assembly may from time to time determine, except as restricted by the provisions of Section 603 of the First Class Township Code.[1]

The annual compensation of the Township Tax Collector is hereby fixed at $5,000.
