For the purposes of this article, the terms used herein are defined as follows:
AUTOMOBILE TRAILER
Any vehicle or structure designed and constructed in such manner as will permit occupancy thereof as sleeping quarters for one or more persons or the conduct of any business or profession, occupation or trade (or use as a selling or advertising device), and so designed that it is or may be mounted on wheels and used as a conveyance on highways, roads, streets or other thoroughfare, propelled or drawn by its own or other motive power.
PERSON
Includes an individual or individuals, partnership, firm, company, corporation, tenant, owner, lessee or licensee, their agents or servants, heirs and assigns.
A. 
It shall be unlawful within the limits of the Township of Jackson for any person to park any trailer on any street, alley or highway, or other public place, or on any tract of land owned by any person, occupied or unoccupied, within the Township of Jackson in the County of Ocean, except as provided in this article.
B. 
Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted on any street, highway or other thoroughfare for not longer than one hour, subject to any other and further prohibitions, regulations or limitations imposed by the traffic and parking regulations or ordinances for that street, highway or other thoroughfare.
C. 
No person shall park or occupy any trailer on the premises of any occupied dwelling or on any lot which is not a part of the premises of any occupied dwelling, either of which is outside an approved trailer camp, whether or not the lot or premises are owned by the person seeking to park or occupy any such trailer; except that the parking of only one unoccupied trailer in an accessory private garage building or in a rear yard is permitted, provided that no living quarters shall be maintained or any business practiced or conducted in said trailer while such trailer is so parked or stored.
D. 
From and after the effective date of this subsection, mobile homes or trailers shall be permitted to be located and to be used as dressing rooms and changing facilities for entertainers and as office facilities in recognized amusement parks within the Township of Jackson, provided that the owner thereof complies with the following conditions:

(1) 
Such trailers or mobile homes are not to be used for dwelling or living purposes or for storage.
(2) 
Such trailers or mobile homes are not to be open to the general public or accessible for use by the general public.
(3) 
No more than 10 such trailers or mobile homes shall be permitted in any single recognized amusement park for use as dressing rooms or changing facilities for entertainers.
(4) 
Such trailers or mobile homes used as dressing rooms or changing facilities for entertainers shall not be used for any purpose during any season or period when such recognized amusement park is not in operation.
(5) 
No more than three such mobile homes or trailers shall be permitted in any single recognized amusement park for use as office facilities.
(6) 
Three additional mobile homes or trailers, in addition to those permitted in Subsection D(5), shall be permitted in any single recognized amusement park for use as office facilities for a period commencing with the adoption of this subsection and terminating as of April 1, 1979. The provisions of this subsection are to remain in force and effect until April 1, 1979, and after that date, said three additional mobile homes or trailers shall not be used for purposes aforesaid.

E. 
The provisions of Subsection D[1] are to remain in force and effect until November 30, 1975. After November 30, 1975, Subsection D shall cease to be effective, and no mobile homes or trailers shall be used as changing or office facilities or for any other purpose within any amusement park or any other location within the Township of Jackson, except as may be otherwise permitted by other provisions of this Code.

Any person convicted of any violation of this article shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment for any term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
