[HISTORY: Adopted 3-22-1995 by Ord. No. 8-1995 (Part 1 of the 1991 Compilation of Ordinances)]
This article shall be known as "Appearance Tickets Authorization."
Unless prohibited by state law or unless otherwise provided by specific provisions of a particular Cascade Charter Township ordinance to the contrary, the following officials are empowered to issue and serve appearance tickets for violations of Township ordinances which contain criminal misdemeanor penalties for violations of the ordinance involved:
A. 
The Township Clerk.
B. 
The Chief of the Township Fire Department.
C. 
The Township Fire Department officers and other authorized personnel.[1]

D. 
The Township Building Inspector.
E. 
The Kent County Sheriff and all other Deputy County Sheriffs of said county.
F. 
The Township Manager.[2]

G. 
The Township Planner or Planning Director.
H. 
The Township Zoning Administrator.

The Township Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Inspectors.
J. 
The Township Ordinance Enforcement Officer.
