[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of

As used in this chapter, certain terms are defined as follows:
Includes a garage sale, etc., and is defined as a sale of
new or used household or personal articles held on the seller's
own premises.
From and after the passage of this chapter, it shall be unlawful
for any owner, agent or tenant of any property located in the Borough
of Trainer to conduct in excess of two yard sales per year.
Each owner, agent or tenant must obtain a permit to conduct
such yard sale, with such permit to be secured from the Borough Secretary.
For the purposes of this chapter, each permit shall be good for one
day only.
Borough Council shall have full power and authority, from time
to time by resolution, to set fees, if any, for such permit.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $600 and/or to imprisonment for a term not
to exceed 90 days.
