A.
Section
46-13-22(a) of the General Laws of Rhode Island requires all community
public water systems and all nontransient, noncommunity public water
systems to prepare a cross-connection control plan.
B.
Pursuant
to § 46-13-22 of the General Laws of Rhode Island, as amended,
the Rhode Island Department of Health has adopted Rules and Regulations
Pertaining to Public Drinking Water, as amended, to protect the public
water system distribution and transmission infrastructures from contamination
through cross-connections.
C.
The Town
of Johnston Water Department shall implement a cross-connection control
program in accordance with the General Laws of Rhode Island, as amended,
and the Rhode Island Department of Health’s Rules and Regulations
Pertaining to Public Drinking Water, as amended.
