The Township
Committee of the Township of Upper Deerfield hereby establishes that
fees for emergency medical services shall be as follows:

B.
Light rescue
(batteries, fluids, stabilization): $300. Operations such as stabilizing
a vehicle, use of hand tools, hazard control, and other scene related
light rescue operations.

C.
Medium
rescue: $1,000. Operations include the use of power tools and hydraulic
rescue tools to perform activities such as opening or removing doors
to provide access to patients as well as stabilizing vehicles and
performing hazardous assessments.

D.
Heavy rescue:
$1,500. Operations include any technical rescue procedures, including
but not limited to water and ice rescue, rope rescue, confined space
rescue, high-angle rescue, trench rescue, or structural collapse rescue.
Also includes motor vehicle rescues that include the use of power
tools and hydraulic tools to perform operations such as partial or
full roof removal, front/dash displacement, third door access, and
separating vehicles from one another for the purpose of rescue.

E.
There shall be a fee for emergency medical services for public or
private events not associated with the Township of Upper Deerfield
or Upper Deerfield Township-affiliated nonprofit organizations as
follows:

EMT at event: $25 per hour per EMT.

Ambulance on standby: $50 per hour.

Ambulance with two EMTs at event: $100 per hour.

F.
The aforesaid
fees shall remain in effect until otherwise modified or amended by
the Township Committee of the Township of Upper Deerfield.
In lieu of the reimbursement rates set forth herein, the municipality
shall accept an amount paid by any patient's insurer as full and final
payment for EMS services, provided that such insurers have established
a reimbursement rate for the services provided.
