No person shall erect a barbed wire fence nor string barbed
wire within the City of Warren, provided that, in commercial and industrial
districts, barbed wire may be installed directly above other fencing
for security purposes when the bottom strand of barbed wire is at
least six feet above the ground; and provided, further, that where
such permitted fencing abuts a residential lot the bottom strand of
barbed wire must be at least eight feet above the ground and inclined
inward.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall,
upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding
$600 plus costs and, in default of payment thereof, shall be subject
to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a
violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
