The elected office of Receiver of Taxes of the Town of Bath,
a four-year term of office, is hereby abolished.
An appointed office of Receiver of Taxes is hereby established.
The duties of the Receiver of Taxes shall be performed by the office
of the Town Clerk.
This chapter is being enacted pursuant to Municipal Home Rule
Law, § 10 and supersedes Town Law § 20(1)(a).
This chapter is subject to a mandatory referendum pursuant to
Municipal Home Rule Law § 23(2)(e).[1]
