Editor's Note: Ordinance No. 1316, adopted 11-14-2011,
amended the Police Pension Plan to comply with the applicable terms
of the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA) and the Heroes Earnings
Assistance Relief Tax Act (HEART Act). A complete copy of Ord. No.
1316 is on file in the Borough offices.
Effective January 1, 2008, the Plan now known as the "Borough
of Tyrone Police Pension Plan" is hereby amended and restated in its
entirety by substituting the attached amendment and restatement of
the Borough of Tyrone Police Pension Plan in its place.[1]

amended the Nonuniformed Police Pension Plan to comply with the applicable
terms of the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (PPA) and the Heroes Earnings
Assistance Relief Tax Act (HEART Act). A complete copy of Ord. No.
1315 is on file in the Borough offices.
The attached Plan document[1] is effective for participants who terminate employment
on or after January 1, 2008. The benefits of any participant who terminated
employment prior to January 1, 2008 shall be determined by the Plan
provisions in effect at the time of his termination of employment.
