The Borough of Tyrone hereby delineates the seven wards of the Borough as follows:[2]
A. 
First Ward. Beginning at a point where Seventh Street intersects the Snyder Township Borough line; thence along the Tyrone Borough line in a southwesterly direction to the easterly line of Love Street; thence along the easterly line of Love Street in a southerly direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line in a southwesterly direction to Third Street; thence following the Borough line along Third Street in a northwesterly direction to the northwest side of Route 220; thence following the Borough line along the northwest side of Route 220 in a southwesterly direction to a point at the southerly corner of land of Richard Pease, et ux; thence continuing along the Borough line in a northwesterly direction to a point on land of George C. Wilson, III, et al; thence continuing along the Borough line and along the line of land of George C. Wilson, III, et al, in a northeasterly direction to a point on Hoovers Lane; thence continuing along the Borough line in a northwesterly direction to a point on land of H.R. Sprankle; thence continuing along the Borough line in a northeast direction to a point on land now or formerly of Emma Hagg; thence continuing along the Borough line in a southeasterly direction to a point in the middle of Seventh Street; thence along the middle of Seventh Street in a southeasterly direction to the Borough line and the place of beginning.
B. 
Second Ward. Beginning at a point where the center line of Seventh Street intersects the Tyrone Borough Snyder Township line; thence along the Tyrone Borough Snyder Township line by various courses and distances to the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue; thence along the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue in a northerly direction to the center line of Eleventh Street; thence along the center line of Eleventh Street in a northwesterly direction to a point northwest of Belmont Avenue as more fully shown on the attached map or survey; thence along a line in a southwest direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line by various courses and distances to the center line of Ninth Street; thence along the center line of Ninth Street in a southeasterly direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line in a southwest direction to the center line of Ninth Street extended; thence along the center line of Seventh Street in a southeasterly direction to the Borough line and place of beginning.
C. 
Third Ward. Beginning at a point where the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue intersects the center line of Eleventh Street; thence along the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue in a northerly direction to the center line of Fourteenth Street; thence along the center line of Fourteenth Street in a westerly direction to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence along the center line of Lincoln Avenue in a northerly direction to a point; thence along a line as shown on the attached map or survey in a westerly direction to a point; thence along the line as shown on the attached map or survey in a southwest direction to a point at the center line of Eleventh Street extended; thence along the center line of Eleventh Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue and the place of beginning.
D. 
Fourth Ward. Beginning at a point where the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue intersects the center line of Fifteenth Street; thence along the center line of Fifteenth Street in a southeasterly direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line in a general southerly direction by various courses and distances to the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue; thence by the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue in a northerly direction to the center line of Fifteenth Street and the place of beginning.
E. 
Fifth Ward. Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Pennsylvania Avenue and Fourteenth Street; thence along the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue in a northerly direction to the center line of Fifteenth Street; thence along the center line of Fifteenth Street in an easterly direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line by various courses and distances to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence along the center line of Twentieth Street extended in a northwesterly direction to the center line of Columbia Avenue in a southerly direction to West Eighteenth Street; thence along the center line of West Eighteenth Street in a westerly direction to the center line of Hamilton Avenue; thence along the center line of Hamilton Avenue in a southerly direction to the center line of Garfield Street; thence along the center line of Garfield Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Columbia Avenue; thence along the center line of Columbia Avenue in a southerly direction to Fifteenth Street and thence in a southwesterly direction in accordance with the attached maps or surveys to a point; thence along a line in a southeasterly direction to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence along the center line of Lincoln Avenue in a southerly direction to the center line of Fourteenth Street; thence by the center line of Fourteenth Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue and the place of beginning.
F. 
Sixth Ward. Beginning at the intersection of the center line of West Eighteenth Street and the center line of Hamilton Avenue; thence along the center line of Hamilton Avenue in a southerly direction to the center line of Garfield Street; thence along the center line of Garfield Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Columbia Avenue; thence along the center line of Columbia Avenue in a southerly direction to West Fifteenth Street; thence along a line as shown on the attached map or survey in a general southwest direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line by various courses and distances to Walnut Street; thence along the center line of Walnut Street in a northwest direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line in a northwest direction to the center line of West Thirteenth Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Clay Avenue; thence by the center line of Clay Avenue in a northerly direction to the Borough line; thence along the Borough line by various courses and distances to the center line of West Eighteenth Street; thence along the center line of West Eighteenth Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Hamilton Avenue and the place of beginning.
G. 
Seventh Ward. Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Hamilton Avenue and the center line of West Eighteenth Street; thence along the center line of West Eighteenth Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Columbia Avenue; thence by the center line of Columbia Avenue in a northerly direction to the center line of Twentieth Street; thence by the center line of Twentieth Street in an easterly direction to the Borough line; thence by the Borough line by various courses and distances to the center line of Glad Avenue; thence by the center line of Glad Avenue in a southerly direction to the Borough line; thence by the Borough line by various courses and distances to the center line of West Eighteenth Street in an easterly direction to the center line of Hamilton Avenue and the place of beginning.

The descriptions of the seven wards are in accordance with the Tyrone Borough Ward Map as prepared by Gwin, Dobson & Foreman, Inc. A copy of said ward map is attached hereto and made a part hereof.[1] In the event of any discrepancies between the above ward descriptions and the attached map, the ward boundaries as shown on the attached map shall control.

Copies of said ward maps are on file in the office of the Secretary of the Borough of Tyrone and can be inspected by the public.
It is the intention of the Tyrone Borough Council to repeal and invalidate any and all ordinances, resolutions and/or motions inconsistent with this chapter. Hereafter, the boundaries of the seven wards within the Borough of Tyrone shall be as above described.
The Borough Solicitor is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this chapter with the Blair County Board of Elections, Commissioners Office, Blair County Courthouse, Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, and to file a copy of this chapter with the Clerk of Courts of Blair County.
